About Me
I'm a London-based screenwriter with a BA in Creative Writing and an MA in Film and Television Production.
I'm currently writing my first television series Sequel : The Movie, about a character-driven father-son rivalry in the vein of Succession and The Studio. I'm also the development producer for the war drama Beneath A Weeping Sky.
I came to writing through the physical side of filmmaking. Before film, I worked in art dealing and events management, where I learned how objects and spaces communicate meaning. At Gunpowder House, I was art director and set decorator on the campaign for Andrea Mara's Such a Nice Girl, which was broadcast on national and international television. I'm continuing to build that craft by learning under Fred Corazza, Senior Art Director at McCann London.
I work as a freelancer at Gunpowder House, a video agency.

One More Minute
2021 · Short film
A collaborative project with Srishti Chhabria, who produced and directed the film. Deaf corner shop owner Arianna’s routine day is torn apart when an armed robber enters her store with a gun and a demand for money. She must fight to keep her calm while the world around her falls apart, and the lives of others are placed in her hands. Written with lead actress Nadia Nadarajah in mind, a member of the Deaf community whose feedback was crucial to an authentic portrayal.
Short-Changed Hero
2021 · Short film
An unnamed man finds himself on the wrong side of the law. Trapped in a cell, with worsening withdrawal, and cops who see what they need: someone who fits their description of a man robbing a gas station. He cannot count how long it’s been, nor how long it will be. He only knows he has to hold on to the truth, even as his body and his own mind try to betray him.

2021 · Web series, Episode 3
Written in collaboration with the writers of the other three episodes of this four-part mini web series. Tanveer, trying to find ways to impress his family and outrun the thoughts of his daughter’s secret, starts reading the prosperity gospel of philanthropist businessman Andrew Garn when yours truly enters his cab on a mission.

A feature-length script currently being rewritten as a 12-episode dark comedy mini-series. A young Hollywood producer, betrayed and robbed by a titan, a legend, a monster: his dad. He bets everything on making a sequel that will dethrone his old man and crown him the new king. Only he finds that Hollywood not only takes everything you have, but destroys everything that you are.
